Medicinal Chemistry Amsterdam, part of the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences at VU University Amsterdam is concerned with understanding ligand-protein interaction at the molecular detail and aims to use this knowledge for the computational design and synthesis of new bioactive molecules.

The AIMMS group Medicinal Chemistry together with the AIMMS group Target and Systems Biochemistry form the Division of Medicinal Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Medicinal Chemistry Amsterdam is based in the W&N Building at De Boelelaan 1083, HV Amsterdam.
